One blog too many?

Creating a blog can often appear overly ostentatious. I mean, do I really think someone will read what I am thinking about today? Honestly, no. I do not think anyone or very few, will take the time to sit down and read what I have to say. However, I am not so sure this blog is really for anyone, but rather more for me. If you think this sounds self-centered, take a moment and read the benefits of blogging.

Blogging is the modern way of journaling. I still like to pick up a pen and paper and write about my day and the various happenings. The journal becomes a sort of historical record, if you will, of a day in my life. Sometimes, I have gone back over old journals and reread what happened several years ago and recall the emotions or circumstances I was experiencing. I like to see how the Lord has brought me out of a circumstance when, at the time, I thought there was no hope.
Blogging can be a creative outlet to let mind's descriptive juices run wild. Often, ideas can be chaotic in my mind, but once I begin writing, order begins. In a sense, it's as if creation is taking place and I am at the helm bringing light to a dark world and fruitful phrases to a deserted page.

Yes, even though no one will take the time to look at my little creations, it doesn't bother me, for it's not so much about giving pleasure to another person, but more about reflecting my Creator by being a little creator and making order out of chaos.
